Mote Ranch is a deed restricted Homeowners’ Association (HOA) Community located in south eastern Manatee County Florida on the Braden River. There are 10 neighborhoods of single family homes ranging from approximately 1700 sq. ft. to over 3400 sq. ft.
Mote Ranch was originally designed as a golf course community. However the first developer went bankrupt and the next developer decided to nix the golf course in lue of adding a few more homes. Today the area that would have been the golf course is the perserve.
A home value myth is that general assessments need to be increased because low rates contribute to less maintenance and less maintenance contributes to lower home values. Yet, while the 2021 Board lowered the 2022 assessments by 10%, home values increased by 38% according to Rocket Homes.
